What’s Cookin’ on Twitter – Vegetables

Vegetables are wonder foods.  Many studies show that certain vegetables can help fight diseases such as cancer and diabetes, and having a substantial amount of vegetables in your diet can help you lose weight.

Another benefit is shared by ktjayneguest in her Tweet: High intakes of vegetables and fruits before pregnancy shown to reduce the risk of babies being born undernourished

Vegetables are never bad, so it seems.  They do good things to your body, and make you behave, well, strangely odd, as poppycleopatra Tweeted: Going to eat my weight in crunchy vegetables and salad tonight.

— or maybe she didn’t mean eating her weight.  Maybe she meant she was going to watch her weight?  But maybe vegetables are superfoods they can eat the weight and make it disappear?  Hmmm..

And because vegetables are good, anything that is anti-vegetable must be bad, right?  Melodyamadeas thinks so: My mom said its because I don’t eat fruits and vegetables . (?)

It seems putting the words “mom”and “vegetables”in one sentence doesn’t require any more questions.  And do you know what else that can be bad with vegetables? Bakotomsixteen shared the following thoughts: @chibakisan nowEating Carrots w/ ranch healthyTweet << ranch isnt really all that healthy lol http://clkly.tr67.net/Ii0kh

But of course, since you’re having something good, it won’t be the end of the world to dip it in something bad which will make the good taste better, no?

As far as association goes, Julissa_Narika has managed to put vegetables and envy in one boat (and a little love to Erikah Badu – one of my favorite artists!):  My eyes are green cause I eat a lot of vegetables, it don’t have nothing to do with your new friend
