It is not only celebrity chefs, restaurateurs and food trucks that get all the glory. Foodies have invaded twitter with chatter of their favorite place to grab lobster mac and cheese, the latest episode of top chef and their love (or utmost dislike) of Rachael Ray. Twitter has become a great source for foodies to find recipes, get restaurant recommendations, chat about wine and rant about the worst service they had during the week. We thought this required a little attention so we created a list of the top 100 tweeps foodies should follow in 2011. Some are foodies, others are bloggers, others athletes, others entrepreneurs. One thing is for sure, they all love food. In order to come up with the list we looked at measurements such as follower/following ratio, times listed, number of tweets; as well as a few (secret) outside forces. We also looked at interaction to see if there was back and forth communication between these tweeps and their followers. We think these accounts fit the bill and could just become the next big food personalities. If we missed someone, let us know in the comments section.
