Gagnaire is Opening up Twist in Vegas

The well-known, three-star Michelin chef Pierre Gagnaire, owner of Pierre Gagnaire restaurant at 6 rue Balzac in Paris, will debut his first North American restaurant, “Twist by Pierre Gagnaire”, this December at the new Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas, an exceptional luxury 47-story hotel, located at the center of the Vegas Strip.

Pierre Gagniere’s Twist will be located on the hotel’s 23rd floor and soars above the Vegas city lights. The restaurant will feature 300 illuminated gold globes that will appear to float across the ceiling, as well as a dramatic suspended wine loft, accessible by a glass staircase. Platforms throughout the restaurant will ensure each guest enjoys a unique view of the city through huge 20 foot high windows.

Pierre Gagnaire was at the cutting edge of the fusion movement, and began his career in St. Etienne where he won three Michelin Stars. “In a distinguished career that spans more than 35 years, Pierre Gagnaire has been acclaimed for his restaurants in Paris, London, Tokyo, Dubai and his namesake restaurant, “Pierre” at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.”
