There are tons of diet books out there. This one works. I decided to give it a try after a friend recommended it. Dr. Ann Loise Grittleman, an award-winning nutritionist, shares her diet plan in her book: the Fat Flush Plan. As a health guru, weight loss and detox expert, Dr. Grittleman offers a unique and innovative program to guide those who are looking for an effective diet. Dieting is not an easy thing to do, especially if you love food the way I do. This book focuses on cleansing the liver which is the most important to maintaining the desired body weight. The purpose of the detoxifying process is to enhance the liver’s ability to function at its highest level, speed up weight loss, and improving your health.

The Fat Flush Plan has three different phases: The Two-Week Fat Flush, The Ongoing Fat Flush and The Lifestyle Eating Plan. In the first phase, I noticed smaller hips, thighs and butt. The second phase is designed for constant weight loss, until your reach your most wanted weight or size. The last phase provides way to maintain your desired weight. The book provides guidelines to maintain a healthy weight and to enhance vitality and well-being for life. Walking and strength training is recommended in this phase.

The Fat Flush PlanBest part of the book is the recipe section. It has 41 recipes to go along with the Fat Flush. Picture yourself making grilled lamb chops with cinnamon and coriander or breakfast egg fu yung. With this perfect diet plan and cooking ideas, you will enjoy a healthy life with your family. A note, this is not the easiest diet to stick to.  It includes drinking flax oil which does not have the best flavor, the flaxseed fiber supplement drink is not too tasty either, but if you stick to the diet you will lose the weight.
