What's This?

If you are like me, you thought you had your fill of turkey yesterday. Then you awoke to remember that you still have leftovers to deal with. Sure; you can make turkey tacos, turkey salad and turkey sandwiches; but there’s no reason you can’t get inventive.  If you’re running out of ideas on what you can do, let us help you with some delicious recipes for that post Thanksgiving Turkey hangover.

Turkey Omelet: Start with breakfast. This turkey omelet is an easy way to use up those leftover turkey that you have kept from last night. This is a gourmet breakfast in the making with the addition of turkey, fresh shiitake mushrooms, and other savory seasonings. There’s nothing better than waking up after Thanksgiving not having a hard time deciding on how to use up what’s left from the holiday dinner.

Turkey A la King: Tired of the ever popular turkey pot pie after Thanksgiving? Get your leftover turkey and veggies and turn them into an Ala king meal for you and your family. Ala king is one of the easiest left over recipes to make so don’t fret.

Turkey Burritos with Salsa and CilantroGrab that leftover turkey and use it for burritos. Turkey is a perfect ingredient for this Mexican snack. You can make some fresh tomatillo salsa to top of your burritos; nothing boring about this dish.

Turkey Nachos:  If you’re like me, you’ll skip the lines for Black Friday and relax at home with your loved one. Sounds like a great day for a Game of Thrones marathon. Turkey nachos are healthy, tasty and can be whipped up in a jiffy.

Turkey Stir Fry: Anne, who submitted this recipe likes to serve it at Christmas, but we thought it would be a perfect Leftover Friday addition. The best part of this dish is that the ingredients are flexible so you can work with whatever is left in your fridge.
