What's This?

I have been on a Burgundian Chardonnay kick. I just can’t get enough of it. I’ve found this little gem at my local wine shop and I am hooked. I found myself buying 3 bottles the past 2 weeks.

Jean Chartron’s Clos de la Combe 2008 costs me about $20 at the local store. This price is incredibly fair for such good quality wine. This chardonnay is fresh and fruity, not overly oaky or overwhelming. There are notes of apricot on the nose, a little citrus on the tongue, a little bit of spice and a lot of minerality. This wine is about balance, making it a joy to drink.
