Food, Inc. has opened the eyes of foodies to the many issues that plague the commercial food industry. The film is alarming and has left many people wondering what they can do about such large issues.
For those who are interested in learning more about the subject and on what to do to make things better, there will be an on-line chat with two major food advocacy groups: Food and Water Watch and the Community Food Service Coalition. The talk will center around topics such as sustainable agriculture, organic products, small farms, etc… People will have the chance to get immediate answers to questions on these subjects.
If you are interested in attending, the live chat will take place on Thursday, November 19th at 9:00pm EST/ 6:00pm PST at http://www.livestream.com/foodinc
