NYC Brazilian CarnavalMaybe you can’t afford the flight to Brazil, but you can afford to party and celebrate Carnaval. These NYC restaurants want you to celebrate with them. So get on your costume and get ready to Samba!

Oficina Latina: 24 Prince St. NY – On February 7 and February 12, Oficina Latina will be bringing a touch of Brazil to The City. Wear your mask and enjoy a feijoada with a caipirinha for just $22.

Sushi Samba: Various Locations – The high-energy night celebrating wild abandon will be complete with special menus, cocktails, samba dancers, drummers and live-feed from Carnaval in Brazil. The menu is made up of glamorized versions of the street food you can find at the festival in Rio like a duck confit acaraje and black truffle bacalhau. In addition, they’ll be rolling out amazing cocktails inspired by classic Carnaval beverages like a tangerine and honey Caipirinha.

Teddy’s Bar & Grill: Williamsburg’s 125-year-old tavern Teddy’s Bar and Grill will once again host the beloved George Kilby Jr.’s Mardi Gras Review on Fat Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 8:00 PM. A popular annual tradition that Time Out New York calls “the best Mardi Gras party in the East,” Kilby’s Review will feature performances by his own critically-acclaimed blues band and local legend DJ Strafe. Serving a spicy New Orleans-inspired menu, traditional cocktails like Caipirnhas and Sazeracs and playing Carnival videos all night, Teddy’s hosts the most authentic Mardi Gras to be found in Williamsburg.
