New Years Day Hair of the Dog NYCI know you’ll be hung over January 1, 2013. Don’t even try to kid me. I’ll be hung over too. If you’ve already tried all these hangover cures and none has helped, maybe you need a little hair of the dog. Here’s where you can get some:

Alobar: 46-42 Vernon Blvd – Long Island City – Start off 2013 with The Eye Opener, Alobar’s new Hair of the Dog cocktail, made with coffee-infused bourbon and espresso. Or, perhaps Hangover Whiskey Tuesday is more your thing; Alobar’s dinner menu will be available to cure all your hangover ailments.

Barrio 47:  47 8th Avenue – Meatpacking/Greenwich Village – If you’ve ended your night and you’re still ready to party; there’s no better place than Barrio 47. Their Royal Supper goes from 3 am to 6 am and costs just $30 per person. They will start you off with their French onion soup, and follow it up with a choice of either their seafood plateau royal, black Angus burger royal, truffle lasagna royal, or their wood fired rib eye-you-guessed-it “royal.

Barraca: 81 Greenwich Ave – Greenwich Village- from 11am-4pm, Che Jesus Nunez will be taking care of many hangovers with his Unlimited Spanish Bloody Mary made with gazpacho to help you recoup some nutrients ($15).

Bourbon Street Bar & Grille: 346 W. 46th Street – Midtown/Theater District – If you blew your money on that New Year’s Eve gala, then Bourbon’s New Year’s Day Brunch is perfect for you. It includes unlimited mimosas and bloody Marys with the purchase of a brunch entree between 10 am & 3 pm.

China Latina at Hotel Indigo:127 West 28th Street – Midtown/Flower District -Boozy Brunch Baby! They’re offering unlimited mimosas, bellinis or champagne for $19.95 with the purchase of an entree January 1st from noon to 4 pm. Chef Julieta Ballesteros’ will be serving her version of the ultimate Mexican hangover cure, Chilaquiles: a tortilla casserole, shredded chicken, tomatillo, red salsa, Chihuahua cheese, refried beans with two poached eggs.

MexiBBQ: 37-11 30th Avenue – Astoria -Never let it be said we give no love to Queens. Join MexiBBQ in their yearly New Year’s day Hangover Brunch tradition. It starts at noon and features Bloody Marias and Margaritas while you much on their chilaquiles made with Crispy corn tortillas simmered in salsa verde & salsa roja, layered with pulled chicken and chorizo, topped with 2 fried eggs.

Russian Tea Room: 150 West 57th Street – Central Park/Midtown – VODKA! Ok, not just vodka. There will be Vienna-inspired raspberry danishes, pain aux amandes and au chocolat, croissants ($4.50 $5.00).  It would not be a true Russian brunch without caviar. RTR will be showing off with their Red Caviar omelette (14), Czar’s Gold and Caviar Parfait ($10).  Nougat cream, toasted almonds, chocolate sauce and 24-karat edible gold ($18).  The Russian Tea Room will offer brunch from 11:30 am through 4:30 pm.

Spina: 175 Avenue B – Lower East Side/Alphabet City:  This beloved fresh pasta bar will be offering their famous $10 bottles of Prosecco for New Year’s Day brunch. Think Nutella calzones, steak and eggs, and their famous egg yolk ravioli (can’t think of a better hangover cure).
