New Years Eve Restaurant Specials NYC – Part 3Wow…you really procrastinate. Nah, you just do your research before making any significant choices, like where to end 2012. If the restaurants on our first and second list didn’t make the cut, then, perhaps these will.

Aliseo: 665 Vanderbilt Ave – Brooklyn – Trust me, they will make your trip to Brooklyn worth it. Aliseo’s New Year’s menu includes a duck liver terrine, cotechino with Italian lentils (for good luck), a King Oyster carpaccio, and much more.

Brooklyn Brewery79 North 11th Street – Williamsburg/Greenpoint –  This one goes out to all the beer lovers. Brooklyn Brewery will offer an unlimited flow of 10 draft and 6 bottled Brooklyn beers, and BBQ from Mable’s Smokehouse. DJ SeekTen will keep the music pumping until 1:30am, and you get to keep your glass. Buy tickets ($100) here.

Daniel: 60 East 65th Street – Upper East Side – This will be a truly special way to spend the New Year. Daniel will offer two seatings for those who want to ring in  2013 Michelin style. The pre-theater dinner runs from 5:30-6:30pm, costs $215 per person and includes three courses.  The Gala dinner is a six course tasting menu accompanied by a jazz trio during dinner, a DJ and dancing to follow dinner AND a champagne toast at midnight. Gala seating starts at 8:30 and costs $625 per person…anyone want to surprise me with $625?

Maya: 1191 First Ave – Upper East Side – Book your table for Richard Sandoval’s 4-course menu. First seating runs from 5-8 pm and costs $49 per person. Second Seating starts at 8 pm and costs $99 per person. Second seating includes a Champagne toast and live Mariachis. And make sure to secure your lounge table for the after party at the Tequileria with the advanced purchase of a bottle of Tequila. Híjole!

Orchard House146 Orchard Street – LES – Orchard House is young, fun, exciting and serves great food. This year they will have two options for the New Year celebration. If you plan to dance the night away, you’ll need sustenance. Hit up their early seating 3-course prix fixe priced at $55.12 with plenty of options to choose from. They will start you off with an amouse of grilled watermelon ceviche, and then move you to their first course. I got a glimpse at the menu and I’d definitely opt for the stuffed pigs & figs. You can then move onto braised boneless short ribs, and finish the evening with a trio of panna cotta. If you choose the later seating at 9pm, you’ll get the same menu ($65.13), a mini bottle of Champagne, and a live DJ to bring in 2013. If you would like to include the open bar option, it’s $55.

Per SeTime Warner Center -Columbus Circle/Central Park/Upper West Side – This is the New Year I really want. Amex has teamed up with Per Se to offer the perk of a lifetime to its Platinum and Gold Card members. Per Se will start off the evening with a Champagne and canape reception in the West Private Dining Room. Then, they will transition to a nine-course tasting menu designed by Chef Thomas Keller and Chef de Cuisine Eli Kaimeh, paired with expertly chosen wines while you listen to the music of a live string quartet. You’ll finish off the evening overlooking Columbus Circle with a Champagne with a toast to 2013 at midnight and a gift from the restaurant. The price is $995 and you must pay with your gold or platinum Amex. OK people…who’s got one?
