Masaharu Morimoto to Judge Miss Universe
In a very “alternate world” kind of way, an Iron Chef will be judging Miss Universe.
Yup, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto will be judging the next Miss Universe pageant. Funny. I thought I knew a lot about Mr. Morimoto…but I found out an interesting little titbit about this Iron Chef on the Miss America website.
Morimoto dreamed of playing professional baseball, but a shoulder injury changed his path. Let’s just hope this stint of judging who is the prettiest of them all does not shift his current career. Sushi lovers (and Food Network watchers) would mourn.
Miss Universe will air December 19 on NBC at 8pm.
