What's This?

Milk May Make Mama MadMidland Farms has recalled milk products because of improper pasteurization. Pasteurization heats milk in order to effectively eliminate dangerous bacteria, including Listeria and Salmonella.

Recalled products come plastic containers under the brand names Midland Farms, Corrado’s Market, Jersey Dairy Farms and Trade Fair Premium. They are stamped with the code 36-1661 and have a black ink date code near the top of the container.

People in Connecticut,  Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York,  and Rhode Island need to be specially careful. The products involved in this recall include:

  • “Midland Farms Milk” with the date code SEP24
  • “Midland Farms Reduced Fat, 2% Milk Fat Milk” with the date code SEP24
