What's This?

The Tyler Place’s on-site tavern serves up a Vermont Maple Mojito in the Summer months. Their Vermont Maple Mojito is made with VT Dunc’s Mill Maple Rum, mint grown at the Tyler Place, fresh limes and brown sugar. Every night, parents happily enjoy an adult-only cocktail hour and dining while kids are in their children’s programs. Every meal is adult-only, with the option of having family breakfasts. Children eat with their counselors, giving parents the chance unwind and have a vacation of their own.

Bartender Hector Hill is one of the grandchildren of Judy (“Mrs. T”) and Edward J. Tyler, who were the original owners of the Tyler Place Family Resort. He manages the Tyler Place bar, creates cocktails like maple mojitos and rhubarb fizzes, and, when asked nicely, shares his super secret (and super delicious cocktail recipes). Without further ado: Maple Mojitos!!!!

Ingredients:

  • Vermont Dunc’s Mill Maple Infused Rum
  • Bacardi
  • Fresh Mint
  • Lime
  • Soda

Place mint leaves and lime wedges into a sturdy glass. Muddle the mint and lime to release the mint oil and lime juice.  Fill the glass almost to the top with ice. Pour the rum over the ice.  Fill the glass with soda water. Sit back & Enjoy.

Tyler Place Family Resort is located at 175 Tyler Pl, Highgate Springs, VT 05488, United States
