Kahve Upper West Side

1x1.trans Kahve Upper West SideIf you’re feeling sluggish on the Upper West and need a serious caffeine fix, you are in luck. There’s an incredibly cute coffee shop in Hell’s Kitchen/Clinton Hill called Khave. The shop is about the size of a pair of earrings, but their coffee and tea offerings are vast.

I walked up to the counter and figured I would order the shop’s namesake. When my Kahve was ready, one of the staff members brought it over. He gently asked if I had had Turkish coffee before. I thought this was quite smart. A glass of water was brought over and I was left to enjoy my beverage.

The Turkish coffee here is not as strong as I am used to. It was much milder and gentler in taste, but definitely packed a high caffeine punch.

The staff was friendly and fun throughout my entire visit, the coffee was fairly priced, and the caffeine fix was perfect. Kahve offers wraps and cakes for you to munch on too, if you’re hungry.

Kahve is located at 774 9th Ave, New York, NY 10019
