Bob’s Burgers: A Little Humor on the Burgers

It seems like the guys at Fox’s got something to show us. This time, it’s another family comedy that centers on burgers.

Entitled “Bob’s Burgers,”the show is about the humorous struggles of a family man named Bob who owns a hamburger joint. He’s got great ideas on burgers, and everything that goes along with it, but he’s got a poor sense of business. Despite the sloppy service, greasy countertops, and a lousy location, Bob is a strong believer in the power of the burger.

Bob’s Burgers: A Little Humor on the BurgersBob is helped in running the restaurant by his wife (who’s starting to grow sick and tired of the entire business), a teen-aged daughter with romantic dreams, a son who serves more pranks than burgers, and a hyper-active youngest daughter who’s zealous attention to the kitchen seems to bring more harm than good.

The show is marked as a comedy, and is generally well received by critics. After all, this is the brainchild of a “King of the Hill”producer, so you can expect the same zany and sharp satire on everyday American life on this show as well. Well, there are some of those who are not exactly thrilled about that. One of them actually said that it’s not even “TV worthy”and that the characters are just too plain and easy to forget.

Well whatever their opinion are, they can keep it to themselves. It’s a good show, and it’s pretty much a good thick slice of life examination of our society. The slapstick is there, and maybe that’s what keeps the attention of viewers. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the entire season to end before we can really say if the show really rocks or not.

For those interested in watching it, Bob’s Burgers can be watched every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Really, you’ll have to see it. If you want to have some good laughs, then this is just right for you.
