Food Pics : Sate Babi with Java Rice

Sate Babi (or Satay which means Pork) is an Indonesian version of grilled meat in which the meat is marinated first, skewered then grilled. It really looks like a barbecue to me, but the taste is different. It is sweet and spicy – the perfect one for me. The Java rice added an exquisite taste to the dish. With most restaurant lighting, taking a good snapshot of the food is such a hassle, so setting your camera on Manual exposure will be the best option. With my Canon Rebel Xs, I used a 18-55mm lens and manually adjust the aperture so the depth of focus is on the food. It is served at Delecta’s Diner and Cafe.
