Eat This Not That: Helping you make better choices

The 2010 edition of Eat This, Not That, by David Zinczenko and Matt Goulding is making its way to a book store near you with new and revised information about America’s restaurant meals and grocery products.  This wildly popular guide to weight loss through smart substitutions has been updated with more industry secrets that can help the health conscious consumer make better-informed decisions when dining out.

David Zinczenko and Matt Goulding have penned a series of Eat This, Not That handbooks that have been praised and popularized in the media.  In an era where we are faced with so many calorie-laden food choices, these guides help consumers select healthier options that are still tasty and satisfying.  By knowing the amount of fat and calories contained within certain restaurant meals and avoiding those that are diet busters, readers have been able to lose weight and keep it off.

The 2010 edition reflects recent changes in restaurant menus and includes more simple food swaps that remain the core of this book.  There are also revised lists of the best and worst foods to buy when food shopping at the supermarket.

Zinczenko is the editor-in-chief of Men’s Health and a regular contributor to the Today show.  Goulding is the food and nutrition editor of Men’s Health and boasts that he has cooked and eaten his way around the world.  The book is an easy and interesting read and might make a good gift for someone on your holiday list.
