Kelly Strum spent most of her childhood in Moran’s Restaurant & Catering being the daughter of its owner and general manager. She has started working when she was still 16 years old. Despite her family being very hands-on in managing their business, her true love and passion for animals gave her the courage to squeeze in working for Morrison Animal Inn and Chelsea Animal Hospital.
Kelly is currently Moran’s Assistant Manager, working behind the bar, which she has only begun doing a few years ago. Being the head mixologist, Kelly is the brain behind all the new and authentic cocktail flavors and mixes that Moran’s is pushing out in their amazing menu.
Today, Kelly is sharing with us her recipe for ‘Pear Brandy Sidecar,’ one of their best-selling cocktails at Moran’s this season. This is very easy to do, and its flavor profile is timeless, so you can enjoy it any time of the year!

Pear Brandy Sidecar
1.5 oz of Pear Brandy
1/2 oz of lemon juice
1/2 oz of simple syrup
1 oz pear nectar
1. Pour all ingredients into an iced cocktail shaker, shake well.
2. Strain into martini glass.
3. Garnish with a slice of pear.
