Bobby Deen “Not My Mama’s Meals”
Looks like the Cooking Channel is cashing in on the food community’s disdain for Paula Deen (who is rumored to be suffering of diabetes). The premise of their new show: Bobby Deen’s “Not My Mama’s Meals” is to make Paula’s meals healthier. We hear his first forays into this experiment will be remaking Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding and Chocolate Mousse Pie.
Bobby worked in his moms’ kitchen when he was 18 and has collaborated with his brother Jamie in the show Road Tasted. He also took part in four books including: The Deen Bros: Cookbook Recipes from the Bros, Y’all Come Eat, Take It Easy and Get Fired Up. It will be interested to see where the show goes.
