There is No Other Day Like Cheese Day

This month, we are all celebrating a special occasion: Cheese Day.

Cheese is one of the most widely consumed dairy products in the United States. According to United Nations statistics, the average American consumes 14.8kg of cheese every year. That is a lot of cheese, compared to how much milk is drunk.

If there is one word that can be used to describe cheese, then it has to be this: fascinating.

There is that unique flavor, that character, which makes cheese very attractive. It has that special aroma that catches the attention of people, and a boldness that adds a different dimension to the flavor of paired dishes. Crumble feta cheese on a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, shred some cheddar cheese on soup, or sprinkle powdered Parmesan on pizzas, and you will see the difference.

That is why it pays to observe Cheese Day this month. Doing it is no problem at all. All you need is to buy and eat cheese. You do not even need to buy a box of cheese. Simply eating cheese-based dishes would do the trick.

If meat is what you are looking for, then a plate of grilled cheese burgers would do the trick.
