Blair River, the nearly 600 pound, 6 foot 8 promoter of the Arizona based Heart Attack Grill has died at the age of just 29.

The brawny and surreal River played a central role in the restaurant’s heart attack theme of serving artery clogging entrees — some with calorie counts up 8,000 — like “Bypass Burgers”, French Fries and Milkshakes.

Heart Attack Grill food orders are delivered by waitresses dressed as nurses who administer wristbands to customers with their order written on it.

Heart Attack Grill’s owner, Jon Basso, said River — a YouTube Celebrity — was a creative genius whose ideas included a warning on the front door of the restaurant from the Surgeon General, urging: “Go away, if you come in this place, it’s going to kill you”.

River also conceived of the idea of allowing customers over 350 pounds to eat for free.

River was a state heavyweight wrestling champion in high school and also played football at Mesa Community College.

“He was a nice guy, very energetic and full of life,” said Alex Arreola, a waitress at the grill. “He was always talking about his daughter and he always seemed to know the right thing to say to people.”

According to the Arizona Republic, the cause of death is currently unknown, but friends are speculating that it was the result of his contracting pneumonia after a bout with the flu.

“Even if he was skinny we would have given him the job,” Basso said. “We would have just put a fat suit on him. He just had personality.”
