You’ll never look at dinner the same way again.  That’s what the producers of the film, Food, Inc. promise, when it makes its theatrical debut on June 12 in both New York and San Francisco.  In this landmark cinematic documentary, filmmaker Robert Kenner investigates and chronicles our nation’s food supply and how it gets from the farm to our table, exposing facts and that have been hidden from the American consumer by regulatory agencies such as the USDA and FDA.

To help promote the film and its important messages, actress Alyssa Milano and retired basketball great John Salley have lent their celebrity to telling pieces of the story in one-minute public service announcements.

Milano’s PSA dishes out some not-so-tasty warnings about the dangers of tainted food, emphasizing the importance of food safety in both storage and preparation.  “We can make food safer, from farm to fork,”she stresses.

Salley, a well-known vegan, provides information in his PSA about the health benefits of eating fruits and vegetables, and urges consumers to “skip the meat”
