Every year, Elite Traveler, a luxury lifestyle magazine that calls itself “the private jet lifestyle magazine,” publishes its ranking of the world’s top 100 restaurants.
The magazine’s readers have a median household income of $2.28 million, a group considered by Forbes as “Ultra-High-Net-Worth consumers.”
Elite Traveler readers were surveyed on their favorite restaurants and gourmet chefs of the past year ” with a countdown that included plenty of surprises.
Chicago’s Alinea comes out on top for a third consecutive year, with New York’s Restaurant DANIEL runner-up and Heston Blumenthal’s UK based The Fat Duck in third place.
